Construction and building works

Industrial sites need building and civil work done by contractors who understand the site rules: inductions, permits, fall protection, isolation and the safety file that every appointment hangs on. Umbusso Engineers carries out building refurbishment, concrete paving and drainage, and general building works under CIDB Grade 7 in the general building (7GB) and civil engineering (7CE) classes.
Our reference work includes the renovation and refurbishment of the old simulator building at an Eskom power station between March and April 2025, executed under a full safety file with a fall-protection plan and appointed competent persons, and concrete paving and stormwater drainage works at an Eskom power station in 2020 as subcontractor to the main contractor, closed out with a certificate of completion.

Standards, quality and documentation
CIDB registration CRS 10419071 with Grade 7GB and 7CE, active to 25 February 2028. Work is executed under the Construction Regulations with the appointments and safety file the regulations require, and our safety management system is certified to ISO 45001:2018. Programme and budget reports are issued through the contract period.
